An awareness program targeted at Nepali migrant workers, especially women, was successfully conducted by the Embassy of Nepal in Doha, Qatar on June 27, 2025.

The program featured informative sessions on social security funds, workplace safety, Qatari labor laws, passport and consular services, and the legal procedures for sending remittances.

The event was inaugurated by His Excellency Mr. Ramesh Chandra Paudel, Ambassador of Nepal to Qatar, and concluded with closing remarks by the Deputy Chief of Mission, Mr. Kumar Rai. The sessions were facilitated by Labor Counselor Ms. Sita Duwadi.

More than 200 Nepali workers employed in various companies across Qatar actively participated in the program. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about the rights, welfare, and safety of Nepali workers employed abroad.
